VOID is a Gloucestershire based theatre company that specialises in events which incorporate live performance and digital media. Since the early nineties VOID has toured performance work in the UK and internationally; it also makes site specific work and web based projects. The company has received national and international funding and has been featured in various publications.
The company is run by Liz Swift (writer and director) and Peter Ireland (designer). We collaborate extensively with other actors, musicians, digital artists and technicians. The most recent performance project was ‘ Wild Animus’ a digital theatre piece involving eight performers, video and sound artist, which toured in the UK and Germany in summer 2006.
