Station is a unique and temporary Research and Development Context for Art.

The prerequisite for Station is that it must be able to respond spontaneously to the needs and aspirations of artists who have something to show to Station’s audience.

Station operates without written proposals, mission statements and advance long term programmes.

Station aims to be a dynamic creative agent, a place where art happens as it is made, where the audience can discuss art and contribute to its development through their response and engagement.

Station’s wide and discriminating audience is conscious of its role in developing Station’s work in all its dimensions.

Station has one artist/curator whose vision is explored and projected through a rolling exhibition programme. A team of supporters and helpers contribute in a spirit of collective energy and enthusiasm.
