Salisbury City Art Trail is a biennial event. After a hugely successful inaugural Trail in 2005, the second city art trail takes place from 6th to 14th October 2007. Over 100 artists will be exhibiting in over 50 venues within a 5 mile radius of the city centre, making this a trail which is largely accessible on foot, by bike or by public transport.
From textiles to photography, from glass to jewellry, from printmaking to fine art, a great range of media will be on show.
Alongside the exhibitions taking place in artists’ studios and homes, cafes, businesses, shops, and all the principal arts venues in Salisbury, there will be workshops, demonstrations, art tours, meet the artist sessions, art tours and ‘Little Draw’ – a children’s art competition and exhibition.
Exhibitions from Salisbury’s twin cities of Xanten in Germany and Saintes in France will bring a truly international feel to this year’s Trail
