MEANTIME is an artist-run project-space housed in a small building behind Cheltenham town centre. It is intended that the space be used as an open, experimental platform for the production and presentation of new work and interdisciplinary practice – engaging, discursive, collaborative, exploratory, critical, subversive – all these things + more…

Alongside ad hoc happenings at the building, artists are invited to make and present work in and around the space as part of the series of 'Live-In' residencies. Project funding is limited, but work-space, tea and talk are all freely available. Plus, you get to present your work to the locals. So if you have a project/spectacle to propose/research, or if you’re interested in doing something culturally/locality/building related, or if you have an idea to test and need space to experiment and/or debate/perform, or you know someone who might, then get in touch. Additionally the space proposes to host a number of networking events and is open to suggestion from artists near and far for work in which basic needs, social interaction and/or entertaining diversions are broadly considered.
