The Here gallery is an artists’ run gallery in a deprived area of Bristol.
We run a regular programme of monthly exhibitions by local, national and international artists. The gallery has shown a diverse range of contemporary work including painting, print, photography, sculpture, video art and performance work as well as some of the more unusual areas of visual art, such as non-traditional textile art.
We have a strong focus on new and emerging artists and consequently we provide an important stepping stone: for many artists we’ve been their first ever gallery show, their first solo show or their first UK showing.
