Flameworks
Region: Devon | City: Plymouth

Flameworks was founded by three graduates/staff from Plymouth College of Art and Design in 2001, and is the only artist-led workspace for artists in Devon and Cornwall.
It occupies a former industrial unit in Richmond Walk, Devonport, and now houses nearly 24 artists - including ceramicists, jewellers, metalworkers, painters and sculptors. In addition there is a large membership of artists not based in the building. Amongst its facilities, Flameworks has equipment for heavy metal working, with its own forges and specialist processes.
Artists at Flameworks undertake a wide range of commissions and activities and are also involved in educational workshops and projects. Flameworks hosts open days and organises regular exhibitions of its members' work.
Flameworks welcomes applications for membership which gives access to its communal facilities, networking, and exhibitions amongst other benefits.
