Formed in 2005, DRAW is committed to fuelling the practices of its individual members by encouraging each artist to question, invent and create within the tradition of drawing.

Initially set up as an exhibition group, DRAW also aims to promote drawing activities in public and community settings. A series of drawing workshops held in Oct 2006 (as part of the Big Draw campaign) proved highly successful.

DRAW continues to take up new opportunities of working with different audiences in a variety of venues and as an example, a local swimming pool, recently under threat of closure, is to become the springboard for an innovative drawing workshop as part of the Big Draw Campaign 2007.
