Double Elephant Print Workshop is a welcoming, open access printmaking studio, offering courses, professional services and outreach facilities for the whole community.

Established in 1997, the Exeter based workshop is now run by a team of printmakers including one of the founder members, Lynn Bailey. We have resources for screenprinting, etching, relief print and most other printmaking processes. Double Elephant aims to encourage and support people to discover their own creativity and promotes artistic personal development through the provision of quality fine art printmaking facilities, which are offered to professional printmakers, artists and beginners at affordable rates in a largely solvent free environment. We offer a variety of quality courses, flexible one to one tuition and a membership scheme.For several years Double Elephant has also run a successful programme of outreach work with schools and community groups, including people normally excluded from mainstream arts activity.

The name 'Double Elephant' is taken from an old Imperial size of paper used in printmaking.
