 Events and exhibitions

It is becoming increasingly difficult to put a general label on the wide range of outcomes that artists present their work in. If the works are to be seen in a gallery context, there are known parameters to work within. However, many artists and groups prefer to show in non-art spaces or buildings. The possibilities are endless and each different site or venue will bring with it it’s own particular problems to address.

When making decisions about where to show work, be very clear on what sort of site you are seeking and why. Think public safety, insurance, access, location, transport, power sources, lighting, security.
