 Funding, Support & Sponsorship

by Carolyn Black

There are numerous websites and publications that give advice on funding and financial support. For general lists, contact your local Arts Council office. Many funding organisations have their own websites and downloadable application forms.

Useful Tips:
Read guidelines thoroughly before you apply – be sure you are eligible

Do some homework – look at publicity and websites of similar organisations and see who has funded them in the past.

There are some funder-finder websites that charge a membership fee. You can often sign on for a trial period – do that and get to work – gather as much information as you can during that trial period.
