 what we do

-Offer an initial diagnostic meeting with an alias advisor, to identify what kind of support is needed and for how long. From there, we decide together whether the relationship is fruitful or not.

-Determine if the group could benefit from any specialist help. It is the responsibility of the advisor to identify and invite in specialist support from the existing alias pool.

-Ask questions which clarify thinking and enable artists to arrive at their own conclusions about what they need to do.

-Support an ongoing critical dialogue about the art practice itself and its context, history and position of the practice within contemporary discourse.

-Support artists to strengthen their own practice.

-Provide visibility to your activities on our website. At www.aliasarts.org you can use self-editing facilities to update the information on your activities. You can also upload your news on our news-board, which will be sent out to the alias virtual community.
